The crew

Four who bring the light. One who never turns it on.

Launches are a team sport. Each character owns one part of getting you open — so you always know who did what, and who to ask.

Rigs, the raccoon
The raccoon · Builder · owns The Launch

Rigs

Rigs is the one who actually builds the thing. Goggles on, toolbelt loaded, zero sales voice. He doesn't do decks and he doesn't do 'we'll circle back.'

When he says it's done, it's live on your domain and you can log in and change the words yourself.

“Built it while you were asleep.”

Lumen, the moth
The moth · Marketing · owns Keep the Light On

Lumen

Lumen is drawn to attention the way moths are drawn to porch lights, and she knows exactly how to point it at your business.

She runs the monthly email, keeps the ad pixel fed, and makes sure that when someone searches for what you do, they find you — not a 'coming soon' page.

“Where's the light? There. Go there.”

Vesper, the owl
The owl · Strategy · owns First 90 Days

Vesper

Vesper has watched a lot of businesses open. Most of the ones that fail do the same four things in the wrong order.

She's the strategist behind First 90 Days: your offer, your follow-up, your first ads, and the sales script you'll actually use. Few words. All of them useful.

“Seen it. Here's the play.”

Ping, the bat
The bat · Data & payments · owns Payments & tracking

Ping

Ping wires Stripe to your bank, sets up the tracking, and reads the numbers so you don't have to pretend you understand a dashboard.

He's small, loud, and the first to tell you when your first sale lands.

“Paid. Tracked. Next.”

Soon the possum, playing dead under his coming-soon sign
The possum · Villain

Soon

Meet Soon. He's had a launch plan since 2023. He's going to update the site next quarter. He's playing dead until the logo is perfect.

Every new business has a Soon — the page that says 'coming soon' while the real thing waits. The crew exists to retire him.

“Next quarter, maybe.”

Who's behind the crew

One operator. Four characters. Zero account managers.

Nightshift is run by Daniel, a Virginia operator who has been on the floor of small businesses since he was fifteen: running big-box gym locations across the country, then owning and scaling multi-million-dollar insurance agencies for a national carrier, consulting for its top agents, sitting on its national advisory board and speaking at its largest agency conference on digital marketing. Today he oversees multi-unit fitness operations across Virginia.

What that buys you is judgment, not a template: what goes on the page, what gets cut, and how a visitor becomes a booking. The crew is how it shows up for you. The AI tooling is how it gets done in five nights instead of five weeks.
