The fine print
Terms, in plain English.
Ten lines. Nothing hidden below them.
- Build fee is due before work starts. Refundable in full until the intake form is submitted; non-refundable after.
- Every build requires three billing cycles on a monthly plan (Night Light or Keep the Light On; Tailored builds require Keep the Light On). After that, month to month; cancel any time.
- Monthly plans are billed in advance. Failed payment: 7-day grace, then the site shows a "temporarily offline" page until paid. 30 days unpaid is treated as cancelled.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Your export (zip + instructions) is sent within 3 business days. You have 30 days to transfer your domain; after 60 days the site is deleted.
- Changes within your allowance are done within 2 business nights. Over allowance: $25 each, or upgrade. Add-ons are quoted before work starts.
- You own your text, photos and logo and confirm you have the right to use them. Nightshift owns the template; you get a perpetual license to your site's code on cancellation.
- We show your site as a Nightshift launch only if you say yes on the intake form. You can withdraw that by email any time.
- Uptime is best effort on professional hosting, with no SLA. Backups run weekly.
- Nightshift may decline or end service for abusive requests or illegal content, with a prorated refund of the current month.
- Price lock: your monthly rate never increases while you remain continuously subscribed.
